It’s funny how life plays out sometimes and how, by being open and your natural self, opportunities present themselves…
On this occasion, it was the last day of a recent shoot trip to Monaco. I was doing my last look around before heading to the airport and returning the rental car. I grabbed a coffee and found the only seat that could’ve been available next to a lady who had her bag on it. She kindly moved it and we got talking immediately – A brand publicist in a little state of distress as her photographer had cancelled last minute for a shoot with a watch brand who was ready to go with a celeb en route…
…Darren to the rescue.
We arrive at this amazing hotel, she shows me where the shoot/meeting would take place and I did what I do to scope out nice places to shoot. 10mins later, in walks one of the NBA’s best Defenders, Rudy Gobert! OMG!
So, in as Adhoc a fashion as anything can possibly get, we did the lifestyle shoot and they got their media release about the Celeb and the brand’s partnership – here’s a sneak peek:
