How can we help your Hospitality Brand/Business…?

It’s fair to say that as we prepare for the easing of lockdown here in London that things will not be the same, at least not in the immediate to short term.

How is the hospitality industry going to survive?

That is a tough one indeed and, as Pubs, Bars and Restaurants prepare to open their doors on July 4th, it will definitely not be Business as Usual, but nonetheless, our businesses must adapt and go on…

We’ve seen:

  • Date-nights in with Restaurant quality food being delivered to your door is on the rise
  • Online shopping at a peaking
  • And, there are Zoom Parties, Live Stream Conferences and online learning available for whatever you fancy.

Until we bounce back we have to stay focused, improve and adapt in the interim!

People can no longer touch, taste or smell before buying. ‘Maître D’ meet-and-greet’ and recommendations are on pause, and the old “we’ll have what they’re having” scenarios are ceased.

Moving forward is crucial, so (if you haven’t already) now is a great time to improve and update your business’s online content and offerings to shout out and showcase the changes your have made, your new products/services, and the fact that you are unbeaten and still here!

Food Photography

This was a project for one of my food clients for their Ethnic Cook at home ‘Meals-In-A-Box which makes cooking these meals not only easy but also a learning experience – everything is from scratch and takes no longer than any other meal to prepare.

  • Food Prepare by published Chef, Nitisha Patel (insta: @chef_nitisha).
  • Food styling: was a joint effort by the both of us.
  • Requested editing style: The client requested images a dark moody feel.

It’s official! dbp is now a production team

That’s right.

We have produced our first client advert and I have to say, it has been great working with them to create this.  From concept to delivery, dbp work closely with Red Rickshaw to ensure the product meets their needs.

It was a challenge that we happily took onboard and with that comes problem-solving and having to learn and grow the studio skillset into this area.  We’re pleased that the Red Rickshaw management and marketing teams are happy and we are looking forward to our ongoing projects.

Brief:

1 – To create a low cost ‘taste test’ style youtube channel video for food retailer Red Rickshaw to showcase the tasty Alphonso Mango for this year’s Mango Season  – circa 1m30s

2 – To create a shorter version for Facebook advertising – circa 30s

Time: 1 week to shoot, edit and launch – is now live on their channel.  See below…

Very Excited to be working with…

I am so very excited to have taken on a challenge over the past 2 weeks for an online ethnic food retailer (who at this stage will remain nameless) to help them revamp and launch their new website later this month.

For this, I have been photographing and editing all 2400 items (Front, Back & Info Zoom – nearly done) whilst on location in their warehouse.  Next week the challenge continues with recipe photography and videos!!

Bring it on March – standby for launch…!!

Introducing: ScrummyTV

One of my favourite things to photograph is food and recently created a handful of ‘Tasty’ type cooking recipe videos for my wellness blog DRGNFLY360’s ‘ScrummyTV‘ which will focus on curating recipes from reputable wellness professionals and enthusiasts and converting them into short and easy to follow videos.  These first 2 are just a test.
