Tough times ahead… it’s time to think differently!

COVID-19 is devastating lives, families, communities and economies with no foreseeable end in sight and our hearts go out to all those who have been impacted the most and lost people close and dear to them…

We are in some very uncertain times, indeed. With global lockdowns, social distancing and isolation it seems like civilisation is on pause for everyone. And, while we wait for solutions and vaccines, from something so destructive and painful to us comes just one positive as our cities, industries and lives come to a halt carbon emissions are reducing greatly and Mother Nature gets a moment to heal…  It’s taken this to make that happen!

Could the changes we make now to the way we live, work and play become the blueprint for the future?

Working smarter not only for our personal safety but for the benefit of all, including our planet?

Virtual offices, Video conferences, Virtual Hang-outs, FaceTime and social media are commonplace for those well versed and once frowned upon but the masses are fast becoming important and everyday tools for us to stay in touch and connected. Social Events, Festivals, Concerts are all transitioning to these platforms for live content delivery…

It’s a time for thinking differently.

Do you have content you wish to deliver to your audience? A panel discussion with remote speakers, perhaps?

Let us help you deliver live content,  edit it for your video channel(s) and create bite-sized chunks to get your message to your audiences across your social accounts…

Case Study: Our Latest Video – A Fashion Show

Both the end client and ourselves are very happy with this recent video.

Having worked with this client for a few years on Photography, we introduced the idea of creating a highlight video of the event for marketing and, after a few discussions with their marketing team a rough brief was delivered to our inbox.

Brief:
To create an exciting sizzle reel to be used in future promotion of this Toronto based competition that showcases the winning Canadian Designers at London Fashion Week.
Requirements:
Energetic/Upbeat Music
To showcase the event start to finish and back to the front stage.
Modern and slightly edgy but maintaining the finesse and glamour of the competition.
1m30 Final Version
No problem!
Delivery:
We worked closely with our client to draw out more information and was able to plug into what their vision was looking like.  To assist in making this a reality DRGNFLY Productions Ltd were extremely over the moon to teamed up with one of our new creative partners, the super talented Alex Thraves.
Together we dissect their needs and were able to grow and build upon their vision, agree on realistic project scope and deliverables.
Conclusion:
Not only did we provide Full Photography coverage of the day but we also added value by inspiring our client to create more content and we’re proud to say that we delivered content that the client and their partners were very happy with.

Additional Content:
As we progressed, new content requirements from the clients marketing team surfaced and, of course, we were more than happy to assist:
– 60sec Social Version
– Onsite interviews with key stakeholders.

A Street Shoot with – Talented Photographer @_Alreadythere

It’s probably normal practice for most people, but I still find it weird reaching out to people via social media to make friends over shared interests or collaborate together…

What can I say, I’m a bit old school sometimes!

However, luckily for me, I met this Instagrammer at a friends BBQ and, to keep it short we didn’t waste too much time locking our first photography Meet-up in London for some street shooting.

Great guy and very talented.  He wouldn’t mind me saying “A King of the MoodyGrams” 🙂

Find him here: @_alreadythere

I’d like to add that usually I did this by myself or with people I’ve known, so this (you could say) was like my first Insta-Meet-up (I know that BBQ happened but the work was on Insta so gimme a break!).

Here’s a few of my favs:

Food Photography

This was a project for one of my food clients for their Ethnic Cook at home ‘Meals-In-A-Box which makes cooking these meals not only easy but also a learning experience – everything is from scratch and takes no longer than any other meal to prepare.

  • Food Prepare by published Chef, Nitisha Patel (insta: @chef_nitisha).
  • Food styling: was a joint effort by the both of us.
  • Requested editing style: The client requested images a dark moody feel.

Shoot with – Caleb & Miguel (or should it be Miguel & Caleb?!! )

I had the pleasure of meeting up with, and working with these two chaps to create some social media content for Caleb’s channels and to casually promote his company, BOLD.

Find out more about what this entrepreneur is all about and the waves he’s making in providing flexible spaces for people to meet, share and create – follow him on Instagram: @caleb_parker and @work.bold…
