Looking forward to the EPAs…

Today is the day where the winners of the Event Photography Awards will be revealed…

I’ve been shortlisted for two of my photos from last from last year (see Whoop, whoop – Shortlisted for Event Photography Awards 2018 post) and after a quick job this afternoon, I’ll be scrubbing up and heading to the British Museum for the ceremony.

There’s thick competition which is great and I’d like to take this moment to wish everyone the best (and of course, a little bit more for me! te he he!!)

Standby for a follow-up post to let you know how I did (obvs) and also share some of my favourite fellow-shortlisted images for the event…

See you on the other side.

Whoop, whoop – Shortlisted for Event Photography Awards 2018

I have just had some great news.  After 2 judging sessions, I’m so pleased to say that I have been once again shortlisted for the Event Photography Awards and this time for the Wedding and Corporate Events categories for images taken last year.

With so many more entries this year, I really am so excited to have gotten this far and you’ll see what I mean when you see all the amazing images shortlisted here

Special mention to Splento, OffToWork and absolutely everyone who entered.

Best wishes for the final judging…

Featured image by @hiroarts – it looks a bit smug but we were having such a great time in this interview and, for those that know me unto well, I like to have a laugh and this was one of those moments…

Video: In the hot seat…

A couple of weeks ago, I was interviewed for by the Event Photograph Awards for winning the 2017 Experiential Events category with my Photo ‘This is how you do it lads…”

It was a video interview and has since been edit and published to Youtube!!  So, it is with shy pride (Ironically, I’m a photographer who is not so happy in front of a video camera and I hate leaving voice messages!) that I share this, a moment and an insight into my photography journey…
